METRO BUS SERVICES
METRO BUS SERVICES
There was a news that in few months Bhopal with some major cities of Madhya Pradesh will enjoy the pleasure ride of Metro Bus service which include Volvo, TATA, type of buses.
It is really good news but some questions rise in my mind with this news:
The same zeal we had when we got City Links Buses, but now we can see the dilapidated condition of those buses, who is responsible for that? It is a clear loss of public funds.
No doubt Star buses were a boon for our city especially for the girls’ commuter who faced indecent atmosphere in mini buses everyday, but by the shutdown of star buses on some rote again they compel to face indecency.
I really feel apathy for our law system, only few miscreants has damaged Star Buses and till today our police couldn’t get a single clue of them.
In such an unsafe scenario is it good to start an expensive project of Metro Bus services?
Who will take the responsibility for the safety of these buses?
One more reason is that the Conditions of our city roads are horrible especially down towns, road side encroachments is on high, shoppers capture all footpath. It is not easy for such kind of expensive buses to travel smoothly in these traffic pack roads with pot holes.
Before starting such a mega project of Metro Buses city administration should solve these basic problems on priority.
